Due to a large number of conflicts, casting issues, and some family issues, "Acrobat" is going to be postponed to a later date.
I want to stress to people that this project is NOT being abandoned. Everyone has worked too hard on it, and I did not spend 4 years writing this script just to abandon it now. We WILL be performing it. It may take some time, however.
I wanted to go over a couple of issues.
1) Everyone who can stay with the show until its postponed performance dates will retain their current roles.
2) We will be discussing soon WHEN the new timeframe will be. We will be discussing this with EVERYONE, to try and find a new rehearsal period/performance time that works for as many people as possible. We will be discussing this soon and re-setting the timeframe soon so that people are not waiting around for an answer when there may be other shows/obligations they want to commit to.
3) We will be attempting to reserve the same venue, at the PS Collective.
4) We will be filling the missing roles in the cast WAY ahead of time, and we will be allowing for a fuller, less hurried rehearsal schedule, so as not to stress everyone.
5) We are going to try and condense our rehearsal spaces into a minimum, hopefully only 2 or 3 places, at most, instead of 4 or 5.
6) Also, I talked to Bob Fischbach and he has not lost interest in this play - he wants me to keep him in the loop to let him know when we finally get back on our feet.
7) We will have to postpone for a couple of months minimum, as Melanie, Eric Grant-Leanna and I have prior commitments during August/September for
Macbeth and
Arsenic and Old Lace at the Brigit St. Brigit.
If anyone has any further questions, please contact either Melanie or myself. My phone is 740-2431 and my e-mail is

Eponine24@aol.comThank you to everyone! This show WILL happen, one way or another. You are all working so hard, and it was a difficult decision to make. But we shall persevere!
